Help me, I just read a GOP message board!
Arghhhhh, I want to jump in there and talk back. How stupid they are!

Read this: (discussion about Saturday's ANSWER rally and the "counter event" being planned here in Maine)

Call to All operation Yellow Ribbon and RP people

WHERE: Come to Monument Square
WHEN: 11AM Saturday October 25th
What: Bring your American flags
WHY: To counter these NitWits.

Keep them from spreading there Leftist garbage.

Quote of the day: VIA Protest Warrior

"Many people might say that these anti-war protesters are just a fringe. We say that they are not to be underestimated, as they are larger and more powerful than you might think. We know that they receive foreign funding.

Just as in the past the Soviet Union financed left-wing groups in America, now Islamic tyrants finance these groups. The Left doesn't need to rely on grassroots support, as they receive billions from the tax-exempt foundations, government grants, and foreign enemies. But we have one advantage that is worth more than all of the gold in the world: reason, logic and truth."

=====================
I've given up on trying to convert lifetime liberals. They've been so bloated by unnatural self-loathing for everything human and American, that they simply can't see beyond their neurotic guilt. All they can do is fart out vague slogans that would please Lenin, and hope that the "cultured" world will forgive them of their "cowboy" heritage.

You say "equality," and achieve it by oppressing one group to favor another. Too much success is frowned upon. Too much power is obscene. Business shouldn't make "too much profit." Little League baseball teams shouldn't win by "too many runs."

Liberals have a phobia of power, except when that power is used to redistribute power. Used for ANY other purpose they view it as shameful, dangerous, and arrogant. Looked at in this light, their rush to surrender America's sovreignty to the "United" Nations shouldn't be a suprise.

So when Michael Savage says liberalism is a mental illness, I understand what he means.

===============
They just cannot take it that the good guys won. They also view every dollar spent in the effort as a dollar their special interests and victim groups SHOULD have received. They same people who whine about $87 Billion for the effort cheer the idea of $400 Billion in a drug benefit.
It's not the war. it's not the money and it's certainly not the war dead. It's Bush bashing.

EJ, we'll try to be there with the good guys. If these anti americans are not challenged, they grow (not unlike a wart)

============
They can not handle the fact that they are not on the right side of this issue.

They would rather we have another terrorist attack on our soil than to keep fighting terrorism.

The middle east is a lot more stable now that the evil dictator Saddam is out of power. It is just a matter of time before he is caught.

People like Greenie probally took joy in the fact that Saddam was a person who treated his people in much the same way Greenie and other ANSWER people want to treat business owners, and other capitalist.

8. The big difference between us and them...
When we make a claim (e.g. Bush is a liar) we can point to solid facts to back us up.

When they make a claim it is usually in the nature of some "hidden agenda" or deep conspiracy that cannot be proven with factual data, but exists only in their fertile imaginations. (e.g. Islamic tyrants funding the left. Where's the evidence?)

11. That's okay
Take a hot shower. Brush your teeth and gargle with some Listerine.

Take some antibiotics and a valium (no Oxycotton please) if you have them.

Have some warm milk with cookies and go to bed early.

You'll feel better in the morning.

14. Thank you all
I feel much better this morning.

I, too, want to sign up for the funding. How silly of me to think, all this time, that I was donating my time to a worthy cause! Little did I know that big money was flowing in for these events. :eyes:

They back NOTHING up with fact. That's obvious. These are my neighbors - and some of Maine's legislators - and it scares me.

I was reading their thread on the lack of medical care for veterans and they blamed it on Clinton. All but one of them, who brought it back to Reagan and Bush I. There is a small voice of reason on their site.

I'll stick with DU but it is enlightening to read what they're saying at times. Sick but enlightening.
