A huge game this evening, with Beckett on the mound. If the Marlins win, they put serious pressure on the Yankees. If the Marlins lose, it's going to be an uphill battle for the young speedsters.

For some reason, they have made tonight's game an 8:32 ET start. A little later than usual.

I agree that the Fish need the win tonight. If Beckett has recovered from those 13 innings he threw last week, Florida's in good shape.

But the game is still beautiful, no matter who wins.

Tonight, I will say Go Marlins! I want this baby to go six or seven games, and I think a Marlins win tonight makes that more likely.

I do think Beckett got screwed on the 3-2 call on Posada. I hope the game doesn't come down to one run, if the Yankees pull it out. It will have an air of a gimme, if that turns out to be the case.

But the rain has reappeared. Looks like they'll try to keep it going for now, with the score tied 1-1.

Could be interesting if the game gets delayed. My guess is they stay as long as possible to get it in.
