Poll question: Why Isn't there any interest in a Central Ohio Meetup?
I've been able to get Andy Stephenson, and Mark Losey, who's soon going to unseat the Evil Debra Pryce to come to this meetup on May 7th in Dublin Ohio. I cannot seem to get any of you interested in coming, I'm trying to find out why?

Please also give me some suggestions, short of paying for all your plane tickets to get you all here.

I was leaving work at about the time you posted this and then out for a while. Saw it in his lala-rawraw thread and then talked to him. Personally, I am happy this will happen sooner rather than later. Two weeks from tomorrow.

39. not quite John. It ranks 15 on the size list
it's population of the City itself is 711,000, but it is a large city, 210 sq miles

Baltimore has 636,000 and is only about 80 sq miles. DC is 572,000 and is 63 sq miles.

New York is 8,008,000 (by far the largest---larger than your home state of Virginia!!!) and 320 sq miles

11. I didn't know about the meetup
I live near Dayton, Ohio and I would love to come to the meetup. Is it on a Saturday? If it's on the weekend I will be able to come. Did you know that there is also going to be a meetup near Cleveland this weekend? I'm going to that one, too. Give me the info about your meetup (time, location) and I will try to make it.

And there are far worse places to be in this country than central Ohio. The only really bad thing about central Ohio is that it tends to be conservative. That's it.

here fool you.

The pukes in this area are few and far between...now, when you get into places like Grove City, Galloway, Plain City, Galena..etc, they tend to be more "country" and more conservative.

That's quite generous of you! I priced those babies online and they're going for about $100 per day! I sure would like to see Tiger play, though.

Even though I'd like to come to the meetup, I wouldn't be able to go. I just started a new job that requires me to work weekends and since I'm the new guy I'm sure asking for time off so soon wouldn't go over well. Good luck though, sounds like you're well-prepared and have a good lineup as far as prestigious guests go.
