How do I post a picture that's not on the web?

1. Put it on the web and link to it

other than that, I don't think DU offers a photo hosting service. However, I do remember reading a thread from a DU member offering DU'ers photo hosting.

2. sign up at Villagephoto.com

you can upload your photos there for free. The just click the link under your photo to "copy URL to clipboard" and past the link into your DU post.

7. Bubbles...................

the Basset Hound.

She was our little poops for about a year and a half, until we decided that she deserved a better and more stable home than the one we were providing (we move around a lot).

We found her a good home in Santa Rosa CA (when we lived there) that allowed us to have visiting rights.....it was great for a while, until her new owners had to sell their house and move into a smaller space. We worked with them to find Bubs a New 'new' home, and after some searching, we finally did.

Unfortunatly, we haven't seen her since....it's been a little over a year.

Letting her go was one of the harder things I've had to do, but it was for the best.

She was a great friend.....though her feline brother and sister (Max and Cleo) might disagree.

8. Sorry to hear she's no longer with you

She's adorable. Sounds like you did the best thing for her, even though it was really hard for you. Thanks for sharing the photo. My hours would be too hard on a dog so I too have cats.

You can do it....you have to get the explicit link tho.

Right mouse click your photo, then choose properties, then you will see the exact link.
