Quebec Rejects Christ.....apparently
Edited on Thu Oct-23-03 12:50 PM by HEyHEY
I was flippin' channels and saw one of them Chritian netweork thingys. They were trying to boost membership of their church. THEN THEY SAy, "And we especially need your help in Quebec, Quebec has rejected religion quite a bit these days."

HMMMM This wouldn't be a fucking knock on Quebec for being mainly Catholic would it????? Fucking fundies.

EDIT: Yeah I know the title is a bit overdramatic

9. thank God, Quebec finally gave up on religion
been there, done that. We know where it leads.
Go peddle your mental hysteria somewhere else.

Mark Twain famously observed about Montreal, that it was
the first time he was ever in a city where
"you couldn't throw a brick from a barroom
without breaking a church window."

10. he also said it was full of hotties
I mean really though, how can a religion get away with attacking a whole area because it is of another religion....sheesh!

Glad I'm not involved in the mess known as religion

2. Gee we used to go up every year. This is very hard to believe.
Churches every place and always with a high Mass. I used to take my mother-in-law. Little bet to much for me as I am not a catholic.Maybe it is all the bad press.

7. Anybody that knows what the Catholic church did in Québec...
...wouldn't blame the locals for having nothing to do with the Church. Do a google on it.

Ergo all the curse words in Québécoise are anti-church.
