World Series Boycott: Day V

Busy, busy... and I am seeing to it that the World Series is NOT in my plans this year.

This boycott will allow me to get a lot of work done and to take care of errands that I have been putting off and putting off for days. I would rather wash my kitchen floor or vaccum my apartment than watch another Yankees World Series against some team I have no interest in.

Till MLB actually creates a fair system and a hard salary cap. Till then, the rich teams have an unfair advantage. Personally, I will always root for them to lose till that changes, but I won't waste my time watching an unfair contest.

Look to see the Yanks facing elimination heading back to the Bronx. That should spark up some TV sets...

10. The Marlins are playing a great series

Whether or not they pull out the win at this point is still up in the air, but I think they've proven that they belong there by winning 2 games against the Yanks!

The Marlins are aiming for their 2nd World Series win in 6 years! Hopefully they'll win it in six, but I have to admit that a game 7 thriller would be sweet.

For those of you who are boycotting the series, that's a shame. You're missing some exciting games. :-( I've been watching the Marlins for years but I would watch the world series even when they're not in it.

On both TVs behind the bar, while I look at the 3rd set, from which I play NTN trivia. When some patrons get all excited over the game, and ask me what I think, I just repeat an incredibly annoying line that my grandmother used to use in similar situations: "Well, I just hope that SOMEone wins..."

If this poster doesnt get in his constant whining over the Yanks and the Marlins being in the WS, then I suppose the terrorists will have won.

I suppose you could say there are young men dying over in Iraq for his right to say whatever he wants.

My view is there are 140,000 troopers over there that would love to have something so trivial to worry about.
