Hell, wonder if there'd be auroras as far south as the central plains states? I think it is possible, though not likely.

They aren't expecting displays for another day of two. We get some pretty good ones here, one about a year ago filled the sky with a sort of slowly turning wheel pattern.

I remember one REALLY cold night seeing a curtain of them
with a gold hem, if you know what I mean.

Out at my sister's place, on a REALLY cold night, I heard
them. Has anyone else heard them? There's this really
weird low groan. Other people up here have heard them so I
don't think I'm crazy. :)
