Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. These things make shitty TV commercials bearable. Maybe Orbitz thinks that the one billionth time a person views their popups they will be subconsciously coerced into calling.

I am not sure that there are any more free ones. The got mines for free -- that was before they started charging for it. If you can find one, good luck.

Try look for one here.

5. Rejoice, the first and most annoying popup ad company is going chapter 11
The makes of the X10 camera are filing chapter 11. X10 was one of the first companies to heavily use popup ads (actualy they used popunders) to push their product.

6. Never. Since I already don't support telemarketers -
I sure as hell won't support pop-up advertisers either.

The pop up alone is reason enough NOT to buy.

9. Que es "popup"?
I almost don't remember...I haven't seen a pop-up in a LONG time. A banner ad, either. Mozilla kicks ass.

12. Speaking of Mozilla...
Is there a way to keep it in memory, a la Netscape's taskbar thingy, so it doesn't take 30 seconds to load every time I open a browser window? That's seriously the only reason I'm still using IE.

14. Sort of...
there's a utility you can download for Mozilla Thunderbird (the stand-alone browser) that allows you to minimise to the system tray (thus avoiding taskbar clutter). http://www.protonfx.com/download/thundertray076.zip

10. Nope, never.
Whenever I receive a pop-up/under or Spam touting the virtues of any goods or services I make a mental note to never, ever, give them any of my money or to encourage them in any manner whatsoever.

11. Ummm, no. Not really.
I view them as slightly less annoying than a telemarketing call at dinner.

I would go out of my way to NOT buy something that appears in a pop-up add.

If my attention to the ad last long enough I make a point to never support the sponser. Same with all advertisements.
