There was a classic from back in the 70's. An ugly little bloody soldier is standing in the middle of a scene of total desolation. Every building is bombed, every bit of life, including the plants and trees, has been destroyed. Yet he has this shit-eating grin on his face as he surveys the scene and says proudly, "I think I won!"
