6. You said "Ask me anything"
and don't know what a boom shock is?

So let me ask this - what is a boom shock? Thus your having to answer will be a lesson to you, too!

25. I believe it's actually "wake"
I googled for this joke but couldn't find it so I'll tell it as best I can.

It's in the form of a series of radio transmissions between a variety of aircraft and a control tower.

Tower: United 127 cleared for takeoff on 27.
United Airways flight 127: United 127 rolling.
CFAB: Charlie Foxtrot Navajo on final.
Tower: Charlie Foxtrot cleared to land runway 27. Check gear down.
United Airways flight 127: United 127 - tower there's debris on the side of 27 about half way down.
Tower: 127 roger. Charlie Foxtrot watch for debris on the side of 27.
CFAB: Charlie Foxtrot - the "debris" is actually a fairly large turtle trying to cross the runway. It should be across in about two minutes.
Tower: Charlie Foxtrot - Roger the turtle. Proceed to Bravo marker and contact Toronto control on 112.9.
CFAB: Charlie Foxtrot - Roger, good day.
IGCB: India Gulf Cessna 127 on final for 27.
Tower: India Gulf you are cleared to land runway 27. Watch for wake of departing turtle.

He likes to attack tender young prickly pear cactus pads. I feed him broccoli on occasion and he loves it.

21. I like cats and so does my desert tortoise
He's nowhere near as big as yours, but still pretty good sized for a reptile. Shell measures 13 inches in length.

Seriously, he likes cats and gets along well with them. He does not care for dogs.

23. Awww! that's Boomer's little brother!
Yep, that's the big boy all right! We have 3 dogs who are rather impressed with Boomer, they all seem to get along pretty well... I've only had him a few weeks. It's still strange to see him strolling through the house to his naptime.

19. Well, I always wanted a tortoise for the yard. He's a fascinating
creature and is like a piece of walking furniture. I didn't ever think he'd become a HOUSE pet.

But since I took the responsibility, here I am!

20. well, I think it is wonderful!
I LOVE turtles and tortoises and I would love to have a small tortoise as a pet. I did the aquatic turtle thing years ago and they were to much work. So my question is, what KIND of tortoise is it, and what is his name?

26. Do you allow him to hibernate in the winter?
My desert tortoise typically goes to bed about the end of October. He sleeps under my bed, which is on the north side of the house so the room stays cool. He'll come out once in a while to check out any kind of commotion, e.g. holiday meals, and finally starts eating again in mid-March or so. (I live in San Diego, CA which has very mild winters BTW.)
