This coming Monday - My most depressing birthday... EVER!!!
My wife is still out of town. And I'm stuck here all alone.

Man, this sucks.

1. Do it the Scandanavian way ...
Get a coffee cake or two and invite the neighbors in for coffee and coffee cake to celebrate your birthday.

A sad side effect of that military lifestyle. I'm here all alone.

3. If you're still young enough to get worked up over your birthday,
...then you've got nothing to complain about.

BTW, Happy Birthday, in advance.

6. I suppose
It's more of a combination of me missing my wife plus the fact that we've been together to celebarate my b-day for the last 15 years.

This is usually a happy time for me. My fave time of year.

But now I don't really give a fuck about anything

8. I was thinking...
About going to Hooters for some hotwings.

But since I want to lose some weight, it's the last thing I need.

I would go to DC, but with the protests this weekend, an even more crowded DC is the last place I should drive to.

9. Ahhh JEEEEZZZZZZ!!!
Go to Hooters! Have a triple order of Hot Wings! Wash them down with beer! Have some oysters, too! It's yer' birfday! Live it up!

Or you can put ball-bearings in your shoes and walk 5 miles. Yer' cherse.

15. Faithfulness and loyalty are key Scorpio traits
and I enbrace them fully. I'm not fucking anybody.

But I'm not above a lap dance or two.

The problem is they can become quite expensive.

16. Meh- you should be happy. Birthdays suck ass.
Edited on Sat Oct-25-03 12:10 AM by Cat Atomic
Why celebrate the fact that you're one year closer to Sweet Oblivion?

My birthday's coming up on Halloween, and I intend to hide from it.

I have this clear helmet thing... and I just dress like a regular burgler, then put the helmet over the top. C'est facile. :P

20. Let's hear it for Scorps
I've spent a number of birthdays alone. I've taken myself to museums to see exhibits, to my local CD store & let me buy me whatever my little heart desired or to a movie. At some point during the day I sit down & journal about who & what are important to me. At night I get a good bottle of wine & make my favorite meal (Chicken Tarragon, baby carrots in a maple glaze & raspberry sorbet). The point is to honor yourself. Make a great day. Love, P.
