5. Draft or Bottle?
Draft is Bass Pale Ale. Bottle is Heineken. Both honest brews without a pretense of the American "Lite" shit.

Haven't remembered a keg party yet so they all must have been good.

17. Sleeman's is good, all kinds
So is Big Rock, Okanagan Spring, Granville Island, Rickard's. Kokanee Gold is nice. Blue, Canadian, etc., -- ugh. Only good for batter or chili.

I found some really good microbrews in Oregon last summer, but I'm almost out. :( These two are particularly good:

26. Guinness is good stuff
Bass, Caffrey's, Murphy's, essentially anything Irish/English I'm pretty much a sucker for.

Anyone getting thirsty?

22. Stella Artois
We had a keg party/pig roast with about 150 people back in my school days. It lasted for about 12 hours and was incredibly fun.

I also like to fly up to Buffalo and do a parking lot Buffalo Bills barbecue with my brother. He drinks Miller Lite (yech!) and I drink Labatt's Blue.

23. Well, I am not much of a beer drinker
But when I do, it's Guinness Stout. In fact, I traveled to Dublin, Ireland just to sit in an Irish pub and drink draft Guinness.

2. Berliner Pilsener
3. Grolsch
4. Budweiser (czech)
5. Pelforth blonde
Honorable mentions: Heineken(Draft), Köstritzer Schwarzbier, Pinkus Alt, San Miguel, Sternenburg (in times of financial crisis)

A Keg Party that I can remember? Probably High School Graduation - the local breweries delivered more than expected (free).

27. Forget Beer!!!
Make mine Guiness!

Sam Adams is bong water since it got bought out and went national.

But nothing beats Black Bush, neat. Unless it's a good single malt.

God invented whiskey to keep the Irish from conquering the world. (or something like that)

28. Smithwick's
Pronounced Smit-icks. Good stuff! Irish.

Second favorite is Atlantic Brewery's Coal Porter!

COAL PORTER

A superb porter, hearty & dark. This one is a staff favorite, made with pale, crystal, Munich, chocolate, and black malts. The darker malts give Coal its color and rich flavor. We use Target and Willamette hops to yield a very subtle hop flavor in this porter.

We cellar this beer for close to six months before releasing it on the thirsty throngs of fans.

ABV 5.8%

29. micro brews
Albany Pump Station in Albany NY has some really good stuff, as does the Troy Brew Pub in Troy, NY. I don't care for stuff in a bottle, though I will drink Sam Adams in a pinch.
