8. The problem as I see it

is that it's becoming increasingly difficult to separate sex from money. Sex per se is not "overrated" but when a lot of people discover they can make a whole lot of money from hyping it, then it gets too big for its britches. That's when sex gets blown out of proportion.

14. Certain Types of sex are overrated

I mean one type of sex is overrated, and it's the boring missionary sex. If there's foreplay to spice it up, it's not as boring, but personal experience tells me DS is the most fun, mostly because we can both watch CNN ;)

(the previous line is a joke, i've never watched tv when having sex)

16. It depends on one's viewpoint.

If one has bad sexual experiences when one starts out having sex, I think one can become jaded. If experiences are good, one will value it. Personally, I think it's nice, but I put it in a larger prospective: of all the time you spend with a spouse or lover, an extremely small fraction of that time is spent having sex. I worry more about being able to get along with people than I worry about when I'm going to get laid next.
