Favorite stoner fantasy authors,
I mean fantasy authors that appeal to the nerdy stoner. Not that cut-and-paste Dragonlanceforgottenrealmshanarrawheeloftime stuff, but the good stuff. The stuff that could still look in the mirror and call itself literature.

Tolkien, of course.

Just read a lot of Fritz Leiber stuff, think it's great.

H.P. Lovecraft.

Clark Ashton Smith.

Robert E. Howard.

You know. All the old pulp fictions guys. Back when fantasy was original and authors wrote for the readers, not for the money.

2. Tolkien, of course
I was a happy hippie in days of yore when I would read his stuff whilst stoned.

4. Three names for you:
Gene Wolfe. Pretty fantastical, and will appeal to your stoned instincts, though you have to pay attention.

Octavia Butler. Not fantasy precisely, but she's one hell of a writer. Incredible imagination.

Roger Zelazny. I think ole RZ had a few puffs here and there...

Honestly, you cannot go wrong with anything written by any of these authors.

Ray Nelson in Again, Dangerous Visions (Harlan Ellison, ed.)

On edit: Some of the authors you've listed are New Wavers. Golden Agers include Kornbluth, Bradbury, Matheson, et alia. And they all wrote for the money! Vonnegut's Venus on the Half-Shell, written under the psuedonym of Kilgore Trout (a play on friend Theodore Sturgeon's name), gives a glimpse into the life of a writer getting by on writing "stiffeners." Many editions of it also include the line "available for the first time without lurid covers!" as a reference to when scifi was regarded as not much better than True Detective and other low-life publications.
