World Series Boycott: Day VI
I really slept in much too late today. This will be a very boring Saturday. All these exams I have to grade are just notr going away.

Anyway, while I cannot sicken my stomach by watching yet another Yankees World Series, I will hereby annouce my hope that the Marlins win--or I should say, that the Yankees lose. This is the equivalent of a politician giving another politician a reluctant endorsement the weekend before the election.

2. It's been great.
If you really love baseball, it doesn't matter who is playing, as long as the games are exciting.

I'm rooting for the Yankees tonight, if for no other reason than to have a Game 7!!

Next April is so far away....

But a lot of DUers hate success. That's why they hate the Yankees. :eyes:

6. Your guys are doing well
Hopefully they can celebrate tonight and not have to worry about a game tomorrow.

Good luck! :)

4. Who cares?
It's your loss if you're not watching - it's a pretty good series. Whining about how your A's or whoever you support are not in the series - and boycotting the series because the Yanks are in it again - is pretty lame. Oh well.

9. The purpose of a boycott
is to get the organization you are boycotting to change or fix something in your favor. Since your an A's fan and they are not in the world series are you suggesting that MLB automatically put the A's in the world series so you will watch it? I can understand not watching the series because you don't like either teams but you use the word boycott and I am trying to understand what will MLB or Fox have to do change or do so you will watch it?
