My woman is still pissed off at me.
Last night I get a call from my best friend, right, we haven't seen each other all summer because we've both been so busy. So invites us out to a bar with a big crowd of people. We get to the bar, we're having a beer or two, she's meeting and socializing with people and whatnot. So my friend says "let's go out to my car" I say OK, tell my girl where I'm going. So I go out to the car with my friend, and he's got both of his dogs with him (including a new one he just got, a chihuahua/Jack Russel mix named almost). He says "hey, let's run over to the park, so I can walk my dogs" so we go to the park and walk the dogs when my friend's girlfriend calls (she's out of town), and she was all homesick or something and my friend couldn't get off the phone. Eventually he says that he needs to talk to his girlfriend so I should just walk back to the bar. So forty five minutes after I left the bar I get back and there's my fiancee, sitting by herself looking all sorts of upset.

6. She just wants to know that she's important to you.
Don't worry so much about the detail of where you were, why, and how long. Just listen to her and let her know that you care about how she feels. She'll get over it.

Good Luck.

10. You have a shitty, self centered friend.
Edited on Sat Oct-25-03 05:39 PM by TennesseeWalker
Blame it all on him (it's his fault for being so inconsiderate to you) and get her some flowers or whatever. Tell her how much it hurt to be away from her, and tell her what an ass your friend is. That'll do it.

On edit, you probably should have gone back in and got her if you were going to the park to walk the stupid dogs. Kind of shitty of you, too.

12. On your knees
Beg forgiveness.

Do not ever refer to her as "My woman" ever again.

At least not when she can hear you!

14. boohoo, at least you still have your fiance
There are those of us who lost ours.

BTW, I bet she's upset not because you went off for 45 minutes. She's miffed because you simply forgot about her. This is not a "all I did was go to the park with my friend...I came right back" thing, its a "you left a place you went with your fiance to and the thought of telling her never entered your mind" kind of thing.

Never do this again. And do something not to butter her up, but to show that she is the center of your world. There are many ways to do this, use your imagination.
