1. I don't think people should be critisizing Nader
I think in this upcoming election, we should show some respect towards his views and probably incorporate some of them. It doesn't help to be critical of him.

2. Those two paths are not mutually exclusive.
Yes, he had (has) some good ideas, and yes, Democrats should be incorporating them, and yes, we should pay respect to what the man *has* accomplished--and yes, we should be doing everything in our power to make sure he does NOT run again. If that includes former Nader-voters putting sackcloth and ashes on their heads, well, color me complacent. Oh, I'll still be their friends. I'll forgive and forget. Just so's they DON'T DO IT AGAIN.

5. Oh, I see...
You're saying that he's only running to soothe his ego, and if we go out of our way to flatter him, he might be content with that and *not* run? Hmm. "Catch more flies with honey than vinegar..." it could work. Have to count me out, though. I just suck at that sort of thing.

4. Seems to me NAder was the one doing all the criticizing and claiming
there was no difference. He should be treated like any opposition candidate.

6. missing companion sites
I couldn't find the websites for repentant Democratic Senators who sat on their hands when the Congressional Black Caucus challenged the voter disenfranchisement in Florida.

There was also no website for repentant Republican operatives on the board of ChoicePoint .

Likewise, the website for repentant Supreme Court justices who stopped an accurate vote count in order to install their unelected preference was missing.

I could go on, but hey: at least three years on we're all focusing on the small and easy ... uh, I mean the right target. Yeah. That's it.

Just gotta keep on repeatin' it.

:eyes:
