I'm also a big fan. I have all the throwing muses records I think. Only one kristin hersh record so far though.

I do not understand the purpose of guitar tabs. If you haven't heard the music, you wouldn't know what to do with the guitar tabs. If you have, then you wouldn't have a use for the guitar tabs, unless it's something complicated, in which case they wouldn't have guitar tabs for it. The one time I tried to follow guitar tabs, they differed from what could be plainly heard on the recording.

Lyrics are useful though.

3. I love her!

I saw Throwing Muses back - so long ago - at the old Off-Ramp, back when it was a total fire trap and I had to sit next to the fire door because I was oh so afraid I was going to die or be crushed from the crowd (but I digress)...

Anyway, Kristin was like eight or nine months pregnant, wailing away on her guitar and I thought, I love this person. I would feed her, house her, clothe her, whatever she wants, I adore this woman. She just looked and sounded so damned great, and the place was packed to the gills (like I said, I was huddling the near the fire door in fear - it was totally oversold). Wow - this is a great site. Just had to vent.

5. I've seen her a few times.

I met her once too and acted like a complete dork. I never get star struck either. I don't know what was wrong with me, besides the fact that I was meeting my single greatest inspiration and influence in music. Great lyricist, great, great guitar player, and just an amazing person.
