Halloween costume time. What are you going to be?

I'm making my four-year-old a black widow spider costume. He needs a turtleneck, black leggings and the jacket-like felt costume with legs sewn at the waistline between the sleeveless bodice and rotund lower part.

We went online to learn about spiders. We found an anatomy diagram and I showed him all the parts. "Do spiders poop?" he asked. "Yes." "Where's his butt?" "Right here, above the place where the thread comes out." Ya learn something new every day.
