Bush's daughter Jenna photographed protesting against war
Just saw this on a message board at AOL. Does anyone have any further info?

AP-New York:
Bush daughter Jenna Bush was photographed protesting against the war in Iraq this afternoon. The White House has refused to comment on this latest black eye on the Bush presidency. Previously, Jenna Bush has raised eyebrows with her wild partying and sexual exploits at the University of Texas.

I hope it's true. And I hope that a little bit of cosmopolitan exposure has balanced this particular Bush.

'lost' interest in the planned parent thing which his mother did so much with, One day he was for it and the next (when he went with Reagon) he was not fot it, nice set of beliefs.

The word is that Shrub made several domestic violence calls to the police during those dark days, because she kicked the shit outta' him for being such an airhead!

13. No such AP story - likely spoof.
No similar story comes up on AP. I think you have been made to look the fool.

Also, the AP does not run "wild partying and sexual exploits at the University of Texas" or "latest black eye on the Bush presidency".

By "made to look the fool" I mean "made to spread an obviously false story to get otherwise intelligent people speculating about the humor of a situation that did not actually happen".

I must have misread that thread in LBN when the Bush twins enlisted to serve in the military as a sign of support for the war their father created. Didn't they?

I mean who would start a war that you wouldn't be willing to send your own children to fight?

Which was another internet rumor.

Personally I think the Bush twins probably hate their daddy's policy and one of them will write a juicy tell-all about the horrors of their 4 years as first daughters.

But as for Jenna being at the rally - not really buying that one

37. well, if this is true
Then I give Jenna major props for doing this. I have a friend at Yale who can attest to Jenna Bush's Democratic slant. He's a TA, if you're curious.

It can't be easy to have a father who's in the pocket of the neoconservative think tanks in D.C. After all, my father voted for Bush, but I've worked on him and he's now a Dean supporter. I think Bush would be a harder case to crack than my dad.

I think it's awesome that she's going against her father on this!

52. Hey, I'm a sorority girl
I'm offended by that remark. Don't stereotype. Sororities embrace real values for academic growth, personal growth, and social responsibility. Most American politicians at the national level have belonged to a sorority or fraternity as well as many other leaders in business and other organizations. Even though sorority girls are stereotyped as superficial and/or partiers, that often is not the case. Alright, there's evidence that she's a partier, but she's not necessarily superficial.

55. I don't believe it
First, we'd actually have to assume that Jenna is smart enough to form her own opinion, especially one opposite of her dad's.

Second, she has lived (and partied) well off daddy's dough. No way in hell she can be a leftie.

At least with Amy Carter, we could believe it.
