Congrats Merlins
on winning thw WS. Im sure itll be even sweeter when Beckett is on the Yanks, Pavano with the Cardinals,Lowell with the cubs,Cabrera with LA, and Pierre with SF next year. :p. In all seriousness you deserved to win and you beat all the odds.

As for the yankees...obviously this offseason will be full of changes. Wells and Rockets are as good as gone, and maybe Pettite as well. Weaver the useless is gone as well. Who will we pick up...I have no clue. Sorryano needs to be moved way down in the lineup and into the right field. Giambi will have a much better season next year as our fulltime DH. If we can make the right moves pitching wise then we shall be back again. Great season y'all.

1. Seriously, don't you think next year will be rebuilding for the Yankees?
I think this was the end of an era, sort of. Need lots of changes, and lots of new blood.

And who the hell are the mErlins?

3. I dont think itll be much of a rebuilding year
they may lose 3 of thier top 5 pitchers but Lieber can replace Wells. So we only need to find 2 starters.

As for the mErlins, its an inside joke me and my friends use to describe the magical ability of the Marlins to go from WS champs one year to last place the next. Ive been calling them that since 97.

4. Hmmmmmmmmmmm..anyway, we'll see...
How old is Giambi?

Think he'll get busted along with Barry Bonds--haven't been following that story very closely.

6. No he won't.
They haven't got proof that he actually took the drug in question, as far as I know.

8. Thanks you'al
Fla. needs something positive and the Marlins hit a good spot. Love Merlin too, he was a positive in Arthur's Roundtable (my knight in shining armor).

But seriously, FSU (our team), the Dolphins (our team), have given us a little pleasurable entertainment in these troubled times.

Go Florida - get rid of Jebby.
