Hockey fans: what is your favorite and least favorite team in the NHL?

It's sweet that the Rangers are 5 seasons without going to the playoffs even though they are trying to buy the cup by spending the most money with superstars while the Devils will do the opposite and win the cup multiple times in recent history!

1. I love the Chicago Blackhawks !

They haven't had it in a long time, but I still like them a lot. I don't really have a worst team. When I was a kid my Dad took me to see them and I got to see some of the greats in the 60's. Bobby Hull, Dennis Hull, Tony Esposito, Chico Maki, Pat Stapleton, Whitey Hall, Keith Magnuson, Jerry Korab, Phil Esposito, and a bunch more. My Dad was on a bowling team with this guy and he had season tickets. He didn't like going on Sunday nights. We would usually see the Blackhawks against the St. Louis Blues. I don't watch hockey very much any more except for the final game or two of the Stanley Cup Finals because of working midnights, full time school, and being a husband and grandfather. I still love my Blackhawks though.

Least Favorite: The Dallas Stars, Hatcher makes me physically ill. I hate the Stars with a passion. Then again, I hate everything about Texas except for some parts of Austin.

I think I'm the only Avs fan that doesn't hate the Red Wings. :D

I don't have a least favorite -- it's whoever the Caps repeatedly lose to in the playoffs. Once upon a time it was the Islanders. Then the Penguins. Now nobody.

I am so into Hockey that I can't say I hate a team.

I hated the Canadiens before the Bruins finally beat them in the post-season. No cups. But what do you expect when you are not trying.

I guess the Bruins I hate in the front office sort of way. I hate how they have taken their legion of die hard fans and shit on them systematically.

16. Everyone I know hates the Rangers !!

:wtf: Just because they can't seem to win even though they have the highest salary in the NHL ....

Grew up at rinks w/ 3 older hoceky-playing brothers, so I have loved the game as long as I can remember, but I tend to stick to college or minor-league ... in which case my faves are Wisconsin (I'm an alum) and currently the Indianapolis Ice (CHL).

Any recommendations on pro teams are welcomed ! :toast:

I really hate the Avs, then the Red Wings, then its the Rangers. Then here's how it goes:

Any team that falls south of Washington DC in order as the farther south, the more I hate them. However, any team that moved from Canada south earns extra scorn points in my book. Also, I really hate the Carolina Hurricanes.

Hate the Dallas Stars. I don't know why - I loved them when they were the Minnesota North Stars. Hate the Rangers, maybe because I've always been partial to the Isles.

And that Bobby Clarke. He's a petty, vindictive, narrow-minded, childish fool whose antics as GM tarnish his fantastic reputation as a player during his heyday. I'd have a lot more respect for the Flyers if only they'd dump his ass onto the streets of Philly and force him to hitchhike his way back to Toronto.
