What's the best Halloween Costume that you have ever seen?
Here goes mine!

Flash back to the original punk rock days.

A guy came in as a Christmas tree with presents underneath.
It was a fake tree about 7 feet tall and he ran the poll up behind his back and he decorated it and stood in the corner. Right before he plugged himself in to the light socket he put a skirt underneath and placed a train that went around the bottom of the tree and then he had various sizes of beautifully wrapped Christmas presents underneath.
He had a cassette deck going with Christmas music playing on it and his face was painted green and he had a green body stocking on.

I went as a lady bug and I painted my skin red with makeup and it didn't come off for two weeks. I was winning the contest for a trip to NY to see The Clash but the guy that was dressed as the Christmas Tree won and he deserved it.

1. I had a friend who came as a turd.
He had a dark garbage bag like thing that went down to his feet and I think his face showing and had a few things glued to it like corn. There was also one time where they had dress up for Halloween day at work. He dressed as a roach and sat at his desk with all his arms sticking out.

3. I saw someone as Mr. Potato head
Brown felt from his head to knees. The eyes, ears, mouth, etc were all attached with velcro.

4. I worked at Slop In The Box when I was a kid
We had a drive through and I was handing this guy his food and he was in a diaper and the passenger was nude with a bow-tie around his neck.
I had never seen a nude man in my life prior to that and I almost passed out in the floor from laughing so hard.

5. It was a "group" costume.....
Six guys walked into the gay bar dressed in identical white work coveralls and hardhats. On their tool belts they had items hanging such as a blowdryer, curling iron, false eyelash kits, stiletto heels, duct tape, hair extensions, makeup bags, etc. On the back of the coverall uniforms and the hardhats they had professionally embroidered/stencilled the name of their company ---- "DRAG QUEEN REPAIRMEN", with some little catchy slogan below. Absolutely brilliant, IMHO!

6. the human lava lamp
a transparent blue shower curtain attached to silver cardboard around the neck and ankles, with a hula hoop at the hips to make the right shape... and blue xmas lights and blue balloons inside the plastic.

it looked great, but the guy couldn't sit down.

7. I dressed my Sister up as Cousin It one time
She is 4'11 and she needed a costume fast.

She had a pair of sunglasses that looked like cousin It's glasses and I kept telling her not to wear them.

Hell, it came time for Halloween and she needed a costume so I made her one.
She wore a body stocking underneath the yarn and put on a little hat over the yarn and then put her glasses on. She made noises like Cousin It and she won a prize that night.

You use to have to make costumes if you wanted a good one.
