What happened? (Lament for Catpower2000)

Catpower2000 posted a good bye post, and I was responding to it, and when I his "Post," it told me that the topic was missing? Cat, are you leaving still? Are you gone? I will post my reply here:

What is wrong with people around here that it is considered good sport to drive away good people. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR THE SAME PURPOSE! We are here to talk about issues that we have in common, and support each other in the battle to reclaim our country. Why would some people (especially here in the lounge) want to harrass and badger other members. It is very difficult for me to understand why people do this. I considered Cat a friend, and enjoyed reading her posts, and I will miss her. To those who were responsible for this, I say shame! And for Cat, I say PLEASE reconsider! Become friendly with the ignore function! <sigh> Happy trails Cat!

Secondly, Cat was upset with what she characterized as harassment by fellow DUers: what is up with that? What was going on?

5. We specifically asked Catpower

to not dredge up this particular issue on the message board. She's welcome to post a leaving thread, but she was specifically instructed not to rehash the issues she was attempting to rehash in her post. That's why it was deleted, and the moderators have been instructed to delete any other messages which deal with this issue. As far as we are concerned DU is not the place for people to hash out their personal problems with other members, and we considered this particular matter closed long ago.
