Catch the Daily Show replay
Sorry I didn't get this one at the beginning, but be sure to catch the replay. Segments on the attacks in Iraq, Wal-Mart...

Love this quote:
"Connect terrorists, Iraq, and 9-11. I just want to make sure we're all shuffling slack-jawed in the same direction."

2. Yes! Love it.
the "slack-jawed" shuffling quote needs to keep going. And now the Wal-Mart story. "The illegal aliens were arrested AFTER they'd finished their night shift. Now, that's cold." Sigh. We can always count on The Daily Show. While the networks are currying favor with the Bushies, The Daily Show is fearless. We can only get the truth from a fake news show. And now, Rob: This Week in God. Paying his respect to the Pope.

8. Yes, after the film clip of the woman who was "stunned"
that WalMart hired illegal immigrants, Stewert's comment was,"Lady, you just bought a sweater for 29 cents. Something's got to give."

5. Here's what Bill Moyers said about Jon Stewart...
...in the latest Buzzflash interview:

-snip-

MOYERS: I think Jon Stewart is the most astute political analyst working today. He has more moments of "Eureka" in a single broadcast than a month of editorials. Who else sets off laughter and light bulbs in your head at the same time? If I believed in reincarnation, I would believe Mark Twain alive and well.

6. I'll have to agree. Jon Stewart may be our best hope.
And I never, ever thought I would say that Jon Stewart was the best hope for democracy. I still remember watching him in "The Faculty", where he did play a kick ass teacher that had been taken over by an alien being. Kind of like our pResident, who is either Kodos or Kang...not sure which.

Anyway, Stewart, Lewis Black, Stephen Colbert, Al Franken, Harry Shearer (check out Harry's "Le Show")...these guys could CREAM FOX news. I'm glad they're on our side. Dennis Miller couldn't carry Jon's jock strap.
