Weeeeeeeee ggiggigigig weee wweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

This motorcycle was confiscated from its owner after he was warned against using it.

1st Sgt Michael Evans (R) and his passenger, captain Bradley Boyd (L), of the Charlie Company of 1-22 U.S. Army's 4th Infantry Division (Task Force Ironhorse), laugh as they ride on a motorcycle confiscated in Tirkit, 110 miles north of Baghdad, October 28, 2003. The occupation forces in Tikrit are confiscating motorcycles as they are forbidden after being used in attacks on U.S. troops in Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s hometown. REUTERS/Damir Sagolj

1. Congratulations for recruiting another bomber...
...let me tell ya, if my ride got confiscated, and the confiscators were riding it around with shit-eating grins, I'd be pretty pissed off.

4. But it's awfully shiny and red
I think it is a funny photo especially the first one.

If they confiscate motorcycles because one was used are they going to take away cars?? They've been used too.

10. No, this was like when they "confiscate" peoples jewelry and money

They wanted it, they have guns, they took it.

5. yeah but
the humvee with the .50 cal machine gun right behind it would keep me from doing anything too drastic, unless i had a rocket launcher with a fast reload rate.

6. I'm not trying to strategize for the guy, I'm just sayin'...
We're trying to win hearts and minds, ya know. It's one thing to confiscate the guy's bike, but to ride it around smiling like that is rubbing it in.

11. Actually..
and I'm sorry to say, they look like the German stormtroopers who rode around in those damned things. (Remember Sean Connery and Harrison Ford in the Last Crusade? They made their escape from that Nazi headquarters in one of those, as well).

Like I said..sorry to say.

8. They can fill it up at the Halliburton station for $84 a gallon
Oh no I'm sorry that was the price Halliburton charged for a sheet of plywood in Kosovo (should have been $14) they are charging $1.70 a gallon for gas in Iraq whereas the Iraqi sel it for $.10 a gallon.

That is our tax money at work.

9. Winning hearts and minds, the Pentagon way
This is good, we really should start confiscating everything that could ever possibly be used as a weapon, like forks and sticks and anything else. That's a sure way to make sure that the people appreciate their new found freedom. By restricting it as much as possible. Hazzzah, Donald!
