I get another job. *Sigh*

Dawn French is a masterpiece. :D I especially want the Red Nose Day episode with Johnny Depp. He was in England filming Sleepy Hollow at the time.

Do you have a fav episode?

1. How many episodes of "Vicar of Dibley" were there?
The PBS station here in Chicago keeps showing the same ones. Last Saturday night, they showed the one where the BBC comes to Dibley and films the church service. Great episode, though. :-)

Dawn French is wonderful.

Not many...
Off the top of my head...let's see:

Series 1: 6
Series 2: 4 (+2 Christmas and Easter specials)
Series 3: 4 (The four "Season" episodes)

So, 16 total, if my memory is right.

Saw part of one so far, spoofing Truth or Dare, Doctor Quinn and Baywatch. Hysterical.

4. "French and Saunders goes to the movies"
They did a takeoff of various movies. Their version of "Thelma and Louise" was hysterical. :-)

5. Sounds like a must-have.
But tell me this: Does it have the Christmas lunch episode? How about the Lent/Easter one? How about the service for the animals? The church fair?

You know, it's hard to pick a favorite episode, though the Lent/Easter one is pretty high up there. "Any more and we'll be able to stage a production of bloody 'Watership Down'!"

My local PBS station also showed "Murder Most Horrid," which was pretty entertaining, too, and had lots of interesting guest actors. I wish they'd show the complete Dibley series, but they usually stop after a certain point.

8. It's all there! Everything!
Every episode, plus the "Ballykissdibley" and "Red Nose Day" sketches (the latter featuring Johnny Depp and that Weight Watchers woman :)).

It also has a "behind-the-scenes" of the above, and a documentary about "The Real Vicars of Dibley". There's also some very nice cast bios.
