I am to blame for my own mess that I have gotten myself in at College.

I missed the first two weeks because of the blood poisoning situation and no teeth in my mouth and the last two weeks were my fault. I went to my class but I put the homework off for so long that I am too blame.

I take full responsibility for it and I can't blame my family or anyone else. I can't blame the College for changing the rules and making the teachers get there grades in the same day that they are due.
I can't blame anyone else.

I am a fuck up and I will always be a fuck up.

BUT I AM GOING TO CONTINUE IN COLLEGE NO MATTER IF I HAVE TO WELL HELL I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WILL HAVE TO DO BUT I AM NOT GOING TO GIVE UP!

I too am going to start taking more classes in order to get some type of job in *'s America.

I remember your teeth problem-and that was pretty serious. Stuff happens. Maybe if you sit down with an advisor , you can work something out.

I like your posts because they give me hope. I think it's great that, no matter what, you keep plugging along.

3. Your so nice!

Before I had the bypass surgery I wanted to give up but I changed my attitude. I use to walk in front of cars hoping that they would hit me and It was hard to deal with being so fat.

Now, I walk in front of cars because that's what we do in Chicago.

You're one of my fave DU posters. Your posts are always interesting, you never abuse anyone, and you have a really good attitude.

I was depressed a while back, and when I felt down about being unemployed, I read one of your posts and thought, 'if she can do it, so can I!'

I am glad you are feeling better. Life is hard, but if you keep plugging along, something usually gets better.

4. You've got the right attitude

It's been eight years since I've been back at school. I'm having a rough go of it myself, but I am determined to succeed. I think that's the attitude you have to have if you expect to get any where. Hang in there and take the classes over if you have to. Do whatever it takes. It will pay off in the long run. Think of what you are experiencing as a temporary set back that you will overcome.

I have faith that you can complete the program and get your failing grade up.

I also want to caution you on believing you're a loser; getting an attitude is usuaully a self-fullfing prophecy. If you don't believe in yourself, how can you expect others to?

I woul check with your consulor to see what you need to do about your Financial Aid though.
