Fellow DUers, Please Help...Can't reach Kiddo in SOCAL Need Info

Anyone who has information on the Fallbrook, Camp Pendleton area, please let me know. I've been unable to reach my kiddo. He's stationed at Pendleton, lives in Fallbrook. The online maps and photos are not detailed enough.

I heard that the phones are mostly out. His cell doesn't work. I can't reach his unit. His mom is in tears, and I'm right there with her.

5. If he's stationed at Pendleton he may very well be on fire detail

There has been a fire on the back side of base for the past week. It was one of the first ones. No marines have been identified as casualties if that is any comfort.

I would BET he is being used to fight the fires. There is poor to NO cell phone reception in the hills around Fallbrook and surrounding areas.

On edit: I can get onto base and will be glad to go there and ask later in the week if that helps. Feel free to PM any info to me if I can help at all. I know you don't know me but I would be glad to assist.
