West Wing fans: Two do-not-miss episodes on tomorrow
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 12:25 AM by WilliamPitt
At noon ET on Bravo is the episode 'Two Cathedrals.' Mrs. Landingam is dead, and Bartlett has exposed his MS. This is the episode that flashes back to his youth, deals with the Haiti crisis, whether or not he will run again, and has that epic scene with Bartlett cursing God in Latin in the cathedral:

At 7pm ET is 'Isaac and Ismael,' the special episode they made after 9/11:

Must-see TV in the pure.

Yes.

These reruns remind me that I wasn't allowing nostalgia to distort my memory: The show was the very best thing on TV - some of the greatest television of all time - its first two years out of the gate. Sorkin worked some magic, and with the ensemble acting, dialogue, camera work, and pacing, it is the total package.

That one gave me CHILLS *sigh*

I'm waiting for a repeat of the episode in which CJ lip sinks "The Jackel." It was sooooooooooo great.

8. It's the best television show ever!
and no matter how many times I see a repeat, I learn something new about the episode, or maybe I just have a different perspective today than when I saw it the first time.

I get choked up and teary-eyed with nearly every episode, the one that gets me every time is the Christmas episode where Toby and Mrs. Landingam is burying a homeless vet at Arlington, while in the White House, children are singing 'The Little Drummer Boy'.

MrsGrumpy, please try to tape them, and find a well-deserved quiet hour to relax and watch - you will not be sorry.
