Fourth annual "Tacky Christmas Decoration" thread!
For the fourth year, I'm accepting inputs of really tacky Christmas decorations, that you've seen.

There's only one rule: It can't be a hand-made item.
It has to be manufactured, that way you know there are many more of those horrible things out there.

The winners were-

A cartoony lighthouse with an animated face, about a foot and a half tall, that sang Christmas Carols in a "Las Vegas Lounge Singer" (just imagine Bill Murray's lounge singer sketch) style.

"Billy Bass" with a Santa Hat stapled on it's head and singing Christmas tunes.

A Nativity scene, using the Scooby-Doo characters.

(BTW, all of these were seen at Wal-Mart, so that should tell you something...) :-)

Any entries yet?

2. Oh yeah.
Wally's though got so many gripes about it they pulled it from the shelves a month before Christmas.

6. How about the one where Santa is kneeling
before the Christ child in his manger? That creeps me out.

9. Santa at the manger
I think it is MEANT to show that the commercialism of Christmas should take a distant second to the religious significance, but I agree, it is creepy. Something really WRONG about marketing an ornament meant to denigrate commercialism, ya know what I mean??O8)
