12. I have met exactly ONE actual Christian in my life...

...and I am 47 years old. Following the path Christ laid out is extremely difficult and has many hardships, including the ostracism of much of society. I have met just one person in my life I consider to be on that path, and that was more than 2 decades ago. Everyone else may SAY they are, or say they are TRYING to be, but I have so far not met anyone else I consider to be on it.

That may sound very judgmental on my part to most, but someone else who has actually met a true Christian will immediately know what I am talking about. You know it instantly. These angels on earth are exceedingly rare. The pretenders are plentiful.

All that said, there are many other paths to similar enlightenment, each with the few true followers and the many derivative pretenders.

To do the actual work is hard, to SAY you are doing it is easy. That is the essential difference.
