1. Brilliant Musician, fantastic dancer, singer, arranger

His shows are spectacular.
He is a master showman.

I have been to two of his concerts and was thrilled both times.

He is kind to his audience and gives them his all.

Bravo for Prince!

6. I LOVE Prince
and I think he's a genius. The man can sing, dance, masterfully play dozens of instruments and he's gorgeous to boot. After all these years, he hasn't aged a day!

9. When I was 14 or 15, I had a completely choreographed
interpretive dance for "When Doves Cry."

I was so badass.

12. Ambiguous overhyped synthpop 'artist'.
"When Doves Cry" is okay, as is the song that MC Hammer "borrowed" to make "Pray" with, but many of his songs were/are/wil-be utter drek.

"purple rain" is utterly atrocious... and then they made a movie of it.

People loved it at the time. That counts for something too. After all, this was the 1980s. Era of Reagan and Thatcher - soulmates and the next of kin to Satan.
