The God/Goddess granted me a wish..Should I sacrifice something?
Yesterday morning I was driving around and looking for a cd to put in the player and thought, "Gee, I should go buy one of those CD holders that fits on your sun visor". I promptly forgot about it and a cold front moved in yesterday bringing 30 mile per hour sustained winds and a 55 mph gusts and this morning apparently a clean, empty visor type cd holder had blown into my yard.

Is that bizarre or what?

7. mmm, a chimpanzee
but since those are endangered, I suggest an effigy, perhaps a plastic one in a flight suit with a sock shoved in his pants?

9. I would say yes...if you feel so inclinced.
A shot glass of single malt scotch actually works quite well.

Also burying something of "value" but un-needed works. Break it first and don't dig it back up later. I usually use this only whan I am asking a big favor and haven't gotten resolution on it yet.

You could also simply burn a candle and say thankyou.

13. That's just mean....lol. How about a turtledove or a crow?
I kinda like the one with shoving a nickel into a potato and burying it outside my bedroom window the best.

16. That's the cure for warts, silly!
Putting a nickel in a potato and burying it is how you get rid of warts!
An appropriate sacrifice would be giving up a year of National Guard Duty, following the stellar example of pResident Shrub.

17. Only the sweet sweet blood of kittens can satiate our dark master
So find a really cute kitten and cut it open. Or if you prefer, you can make a burnt offering.

15. Absolutely yes...
never hurts to say thank you for the little things the universe does for you. He/She/It remembers.

Close your eyes and listen to the voice of the universe...it'll tell you what to do to say thanks.

24. In Nethack
I usually sacrifice until I get the four-leaf clover thing under my feet. It helps if you find a luckstone in the dungeons first, since that allows you to retain the luck bonus. Also depends on your alignment -- never something of the same race as you unless you're chaotic. If you're chaotic, you can sacrifice your own race and summon the friendly demons, and that can make the lower levels much safer -- because you don't have to then face those demons on your way to the amulet of Yendor.

:)
