In a way, I hate that 'cause it will be a blockbuster and she'll go all popular and commercial 'n' stuff.

Plus; she's way more intelligent than the moron character she'll be playing. And so is Tom Hanks; who's playing the male lead moron.

27. Chris Cooper is fantastic.
Maybe you've overlooked him, because he becomes the character so completely, rather than bringing his own persona so much to the front (like, say, Depp - who is *really* fun to watch anyhow, or maybe Jeff Bridges, who's also good, but always more Jeff Bridges than the character, IMO).

I really started to notice the guy in Lone Star. He did well in other flicks, like American Beauty, but his work in Adaptation was so friggin outstanding, he became my favorite actor.

The guy's good.

I like a lot of actors very much, but those four are the top tier.

Not even necessarily for the quality of their acting. I don't know that my "best actor" list would be the same as my "favorite actor" list.

Jill Hennessy for actress.

I watch TV far more than I go to the movies so that's why my choices are small screen based.

All though I am going to go see Julian in the Fantastic Four as Dr. Doom this summer and will go see him in any future films. I wish he would go for the romantic comedy for a change though. I want him as a hero, for his next film choice. His bad boys with a tender side are really fun to watch but it would just be cool to see him play a complete true blue for a change.
