Diablo II players - have you tried out 1.10 version yet???!!!

I play on battle.net USEast (diablo II is my stress reliever and great for helping me get to sleep at nights - go figure). But they finally released the new patch and it's HARD. They weakened some of the stronger players and strenghtened up some of the weaker characters and the levels are much more difficult to go through.

Any other Diablo II players out there???

1. From what I've read about it..

Characters are generally weaker
Monsters are generally tougher
Items are generally harder to find

I don't see an up-side to this. :shrug:

2. And no, I haven't installed it.

Maybe I will at some point in the future, but I'd like to complete a Hell level at least once before I make it even tougher.

I haven't seen 1.10, and haven't had time to play in a while, but also use it as a stress reliever.

4. My Amazon is now nothing more than a mule

Thanks to 1.10, she's lost power in her main attack which was strafe (I had made a strafe zon using a buriza and M'virinas bow as my 2 weapons of choice).

I'm thinking of rebuilding my zon. However, my druid was kicking some serious buttocks when I tested him out and lately I had not been using him cause he was always a weak one (He's a club carrying Bear).

I'll probably rebuild all my main characters but I'll use the armor that I have. I have Tal's set for my sorc and M'Virnias with the zon. I also have the complete Aldur's set for my druid but he isn't big enough.

Personally I like the challege with 1.10. Too many people were zipping off to hell level while still only level 11 with how easy the earlier version is.

6. Regen on the monsters is a mutha now

Got a 82 level sorc and she shocks em down to 50% and then spends the rest of the day working on keeping them there.

5. Been playing the Beta for a while now

Waiting to hear if they further nerfed anything before I go up to the official load. Not much of a Battlenet player. I play in fits and spurts and prefer the control of single/local mode.
