The world! An L.F overview.

The world is full of fear and hate. Many are scared to leave there own homes due to it. However this felling has made it where we can no longer trust those around us. Without that feeling of trust and safty in our neighborhoods we have become like little forts of people in a 100 yard by 50 yard (nubers may vary) that will attack any that dare to enter our domain! How many can say that they know thier neighbors? Not many!

Gone are the niegborhood block partys, the treak or treater's knocking at the door, the freedom children had to run and play!

When can we have this again, this feeling of home,trust and safty? Could it be that the bad guys won a long time ago? Maybe they have.

1. I live in the City of Chicago.

We have two or three block parties every year, get hundreds of trick or treaters, and the neighborhood kids run and play.

The neighborhood is congenial, although nobody has the ambition to organize a block party.

My wife is a teacher at a school about 4 blocks from the house, & the kids know where we live, so we get swamped with kids every year. I figure we'll go through at least 17 of the 20 bags of candy i bought. If the weather turns out to be real nice, i'll end up running out for extra, i would guess.
