Our river float was fun! No rednecks, sunny all day...

but what sucked was getting sunburned. McCall Jr. was wise enough to wear sunscreen, but I wasn't. Instead, I sprayed on tan amplifier, which turned out to be BURN amplifier. :ouch:

The river was up, because of recent rain, so we didn't have to "raise our cabooses" like we usually do, to avoid snagging our buts on limbs and such.

NO ONE was on the river today--I guess because it's a weekday and people were afraid to float the river since it was up several feet. We had it to ourselves. It was kind of eerie--I mean, NO ONE was on the banks at the water park that we float through, and no one was in the water at all. Just me, McCall Jr., and the occasional fish or turtle.

It was a wonderful four-hour tube float. Now, if I can JUST get over this damned sunburn. :ouch:
