But the Yankees latest series wins were from a combination of good drafting and good trades.Not just buying their way to a championship.

The Sox were right up there with the yanks for years in spending and won nothing so it isnt all about money.

The only reason that yankees were able to win in the 90s was because Steinbrenner was banned from any participation with the Yankees and Cashman had a free hand to develop talent and not ship them away for the latest retreads like they are doing now.

I am still trying to find park space. KCMO now charges $80 to rent a shelter at most parks. And SM parks are high too. Even Wy Co charges big bucks now.

I have been really busy but will go out driving around park shopping this weekend. My son suggested Rosedale Park. I will check it out and hope to post plans next week. If you have any suggestions let me know. I really don't want to have to pay $80 for a shelter.
