1. Chicago is a blast this time of year
You could also stop in Springfield Illinois and see the new Lincoln Presidential Museum. Its well worth the visit and I'd say the chances of you picking up a hot guy while you're there are pretty good.

2. Interesting.
The only thing is - funds are limited. :) I've never been to Chicago though so it's something I'd be interested in. And the hot guy thing is a plus, although not a necessity. :D

3. It would be cheap
The aforementioned hot guy might be able to find you a place to stay for free.

Are you going to bonnaroo?

4. How nice of the
aforementioned guy. :D The hot thing, well I'd just have to be the judge of that. I've never seen the afore.. errr, you... before. :D

Bonnaroo?? Moi?? Oh shit that doesn't even belong in the same sentence. I love a lot of the bands, but there's no way I could stay in a tent for days with no shower. But I hope you have a blast! :P

10. Nope.
Sure haven't.

And you could swing by Knoxville on your way to/from (from might be better, you might have nice goodies lol) and we could do lunch?

I don't know, I'm not that trusting of a person. :D

5. Go to DC ... while it is still (mostly) an open city with free attractions
DC may well be the best vacation bargain going. You can spend days and days here and never pay an entrance fee.

But come quickly. The black Chevy Suburbans and men in black ninja gear are multiplying.

6. I'm afraid
If I come to DC, I'll probably end up in jail for protesting naked or something like that. :D

I haven't been in 5 years and then we were on a big school trip (and went everywhere you could imagine!). I don't remember a lot of details so that would be fun.

14. I bet!
Sorry to hear that things ended, but I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. :)

Although, I'm sure you couldn't handle this.
