2. I am getting nervous
I have way too much ego invested in my theory of what is going on and if I turn out to be wrong.... well that would suck. So aside from that can't wait for it to get here (of course I could DL it but I ain't gonna wreck for myself that way).

3. Details in the last film won't invalidate myriad interpreations/criticisms
There's enough material in the first two provide a framework for serious criticism and interpretations. New Criticism/Deconstruction allows us to evalute just the words on the page-not author's intent. I think my final interpretation of The Matrix Trilogy will be inconsistent with the Waschowski brothers empirical explanations and/or understanding of what they have created.

I'll put my final thoughts into a column and post to DU next weekend. Of course, I won't claim absolute authority on what The Matrix "means" to anyone else-just to myself.

4. Interpretting vs Intent
True the analysis of the movies can go on ad infinitum. But I am speaking to the notion of seeing the clues intentionally inserted in the movie and being able to predict their intended implication. Of course there are going to be unintended reverberations within the structure that the audience discovers for itself.
