Poll question: Favorite Internet Discussion Board Software?
Edited on Fri Jun-03-05 02:11 PM by Kellanved
A question directed at users and admins in equal parts. Personally I like phpBB, acknowledging that the current 2.0.* branch has a few severe issues and is outdated.

1. Had DC Forums +, required a ton of server memory
I had to get rid of it because it was costing way too much for my small board with less than 200 members, needed $160/mo for a server to carry it without exceeding memory restrictions.

2. I guess so
The threaded view is bound to produce a lot of server load, especially on the database. But wow, for such a board size that really is excessive.
