and its scary to admit but its one of the nicest stores I have been in. Most of the are pretty shabby at least around here. But this one was purpose built and its clean, well organized and has some cool stuff in it compared to many of the others.

etc. Lotsa ways to milk the military people who live around here, along with the poverty stricken.

I ***HATE*** $1 stores and think that they're just ways to screw people of the little money they have by offering them stuff they can afford, but which is sh*t utterly. It is a way for people who cannot afford more to still be insanely conspicuous consumers, and ends up keeping most of them in poverty, but in poverty with tons of shit.

Now the mayonaise in the hair, maybe I can get behind that.

Maybe the worst, being in Connecticut, were the ENDLESS morning discussions of UConn basketball (and college basketball in general every March), in which I have zero interest.

Not to be unkind--obviously, these things are important to these people, and they have every right to talk about them if they want to, but they should have to courtesy to do it in a place where it doesn't interrupt other peoples' work.
