My poor old hand...56 years takes a toll on hands :)
That's what always cracks me up when "older" ladies go for the botox and neck lifts and face lifts.. The hands always tell the true age :)

Hey, have you tried one of those wax spa appliances for your hands? Havocdad got me one and I almost love my hands again... even with gardening season. It has helped the arthritis pain, and flexibility immensely for me. Was afraid I would soon be unable to do just about anything, it was getting so bad! Wow, what a difference.

8. I took my wedding ring off years ago

I smashed it (and my hand) in a door..and the jeweler told me he would have to re-set all the diamonds or I might start losing them.. It's a channel set, three rows with a bunch of them..and they charged by the stone..so.. cheapskate that I am, I just took it off:)

We've been married 35 years, and I don't need a ring to remind me...and guys haven't hit on me for ages anyway:cry:

So I stole your hands, huh? I DON'T THINK SO! LOL...These have been an integral part of me ALL my life...And those are NOT age freckles! These are also an integral part of me, and have been here for over 60 years, so there! I am definitely freckly...rust spots, or angel kisses, take your pick!

How did you get it?

I didn't notice how much my hands had "aged" until I put it next to my daughter's hand!

When I went on vacation last year I saw a lady in Palm Springs who obiviously had so much plastic surgery trying to look 50 again (now that should make us 50-somethings feel good), and was so thin, dressed like she shopped in the jr. dept., with the worst looking upper arms and hands I have seem in years!

It was a dead-give-away that she was a lot older than me even!
