I used to have dogs and I loved them. For this week of dog sitting, it was almost like having a dog again. So, I feel a little empty.

1. Can you go to the park and see if any fur guys will play with you?
The years between my divorce and finding Havocdad (then talking him into a retriever) were the longest, saddest of my life without my dog. I used to borrow a friend's dog to take camping sometimes. Felt somewhat unarmed in the woods alone without the ears and nose of a good dog with me.

Maybe go to Petsmart and look for their training class schedule? Used to do that too for doggie fix. ;)

3. Or join a rescue organization
Then you can spend time with different dogs helping out.

And/or

Foster a dog until they are adopted.
