DU cooking cult: anyone out there own a Blue Star range?
I'm leaning to a Blue Star 36"/6-burner range (propane/over 2000' for the mountain house). The Blue Star has 22,000 BTU burners (that will fry your okra!)- and exquistly low simmer qualities. The Blue Star is about $1000 less than a comparable (and inferior) Viking. Looks like a no-brainer to me!

4. Primary unit is stainless steel.
I think that you can special order painted units. I might just do that too.
