Dikshit calls truce with Ram Babu

New Delhi, June 1: After their war of words, it’s time for truce between Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Delhi Congress chief Ram Babu Sharma. Today, it was decided that a coordination panel will be formed in the Delhi Congress, which will act as an interface with the state government.

In April, Sharma had criticised the Dikshit government for ignoring elected representatives and Congressmen. The turf war soon spilled on to the Congress high command office, where a truce formula was worked out. Setting up a coordination panel was one of the steps in this direction, as it had been a longstanding demand among the dissidents.
