I just saw "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" (no spoilers)

My review? Better than expected. The girls that acted in the movie (Amber Tamblyn - Joan of Arcadia, Alexis Bledel - Gilmore Girls, America Ferrera - Real Women Have Curves, and newcomer Blake Lively) all did a wonderful job. It's definitely a chick flick and definitely something I'd take my little sisters to see. If you're looking for a mother/daughter movie or a good flick to laugh and cry a little with the girls, this is it. Better leave the boys at home for this one ladies, I don't think their minds would appreciate it. :) Don't have too high expectations or you won't appreciate the storylines, this movie isn't flashy.

If you're worried about profanity or it being appropriate for the younger crowd, 'ass' was said three times (I think) and I'm pretty sure that was it. I think the movie gives off a very positive vibe for young girls and gives them new perspectives of people from different backgrounds. Bring the kleenex, I know I needed it.

Hope this was helpful. In short, fun movie with a good message for the female audience, but don't go in expecting it's the next Oscar winner.
