I got a Wikipedia user account not long after the election.

I have made about 300 edits and have started about 15-20 new pages.

Between Wikipedia and DU, I need a life! :D

I haven't gotten around to contributing to it myself, I keep saying I will. It's awesome when I am looking for general information on anything and I google it, I always look for the Wikipedia pages in the results first.

Question: If I can edit, obviously, anyone can. So, how do you know the info you are getting is actually correct?

Okay, so I'm a huge John Denver fan, so I searched for him. The last song he wrote while on the Colorado river was incorrectly named, so I corrected it. Where does Widipedia get its info?
