Meet our newest family member....Cider

Good evening ya'll....I'd like to introduce Cider, our newest family member. Cider is one of a litter of cats that was named after fall stuff. There was Pumpkin, Cider, Harvest and a few others.

We went to Michigan today to drop off some stuff at the Northwoods Humane Society. Cider was getting underfoot as they were cleaning his cage so I picked him up to keep him out of the way. He immediately rolled over on his back, put his head on my arm and closed his eyes and purred himself to sleep.

When they were done with his cage I put him back on the floor so he could go play for a bit and he came right back over and put his feet up on my leg until I picked him up at which time he purred himself to sleep again.

Cider is being held by Judy, one of the volunteers at the shelter.

Just hope that our old bag of a cat will adjust to the rambunctious kitten. The other cat, Star, will love the kitten. She's always looking for something to cuddle with.

2 females - one white/tortie/calico longhair(fucking cute) and a short hair tabby.
1 male- long haired white/orange was the giant of the litter. also fucking cute.

We're actually in Bay View. However we don't have any room for more kitties. Paul didn't want me to have this one (the rotten bastard that he is.)

I am mainly a dog person but I also have 3 cats at my farm. I admit to being chosen by them and now they run the place. No regular barn cats, these. They have the run of my air conditioned and heated office and all the Science Diet and mice they could ever want. What a cutie, nothing like a kitten. Nothing like the good people who are the chosen ones and who make themselves available to help like you have done.
